Maria Savino is awesome! Her Simply Your Health 90-day Transformation program is extremely helpful. I did not use the program to lose weight per say (though I did lose a few pounds), but to develop healthy habits. Putting myself first for once. She challenged me to think about why I wanted to reach my goals, how it would make me feel and what brought me joy in life (harder than I thought to come up with). Once I did, the weekly steps were much easier as I had reasons to successfully maintain them.
Maria is very knowledgeable in the nutrition department and has simple, quick fixes to some healthy habits (set a timer on your phone to remind you to have a healthy snack at a certain time, take five minutes a day for a week to declutter that area that is driving you nuts or make a to-do list - I am very Type A and loved crossing things off of it). She is genuine and continues to push you to become a better you. I have found that my new healthy habit lifestyle has positively affect my life and I plan to continue the habits for a long time. "Working with Maria Savino and her Simply Your Health 90-day Transformation program has truly been life-changing for me. Prior to my wedding I lost a lot of weight by refusing desserts, eating skimpy meals, exercising like crazy, and survived by telling myself I could eat whatever I wanted once the wedding was over. Surprise, surprise, a few years later and I gained all that weight back and then some. To say I was embarrassed, depressed, and ashamed of myself is an understatement. But Maria has really helped me re-train myself from the inside out. I now look at food as energy, not something to feel depressed about.
